Man-height pyramidal brazier made of S235 steel, custom-made in our metal fabrication workshop. Quality you can feel: 184.3 kg of solid steel, 3 and 8 mm thick - a piece made to last for decades.

Two steel options:

  • Raw S235: raw workshop finish, appearance evolves freely over time.
  • S235 Corten: self-patinating steel, develops a stable and protective patina, uniform warm tone.

Optional stand: each stand fits every brazier. Stand models may vary depending on salvaged steel stock - photos are not contractually binding. If stands are out of stock, the brazier is offered alone.

Dimensions: top 72 × 72 cm, height 106.1 cm (stand assembled), 184.3 kg (brazier only).

Shipping: ex-works price including VAT, excluding transport. Delivery cost depends on location and fuel: after your order, we will contact you for an evaluation of your order within 3 to 5 business days. Free pickup possible at our depot in Villiers-sur-Loir (41).

Usage & maintenance conditions (workshop tips, no guarantee)

Accelerate patination: the "Flash Rust" mixture. On new steel, the reaction is very satisfying to watch.

  • Mixture: 200 ml hydrogen peroxide + 2 tablespoons white vinegar + 1 teaspoon salt.
  • Application: use a plant mister, spray randomly for a natural look.
  • Timing: preferably on a cloudy day or at the end of the day. If the sun is too strong, the mixture evaporates before reacting with the iron.

The first fire: "baking" the patina. This is the key step for a metalworker's brazier: once your brazier is well-orange (after 24 to 48 hours of exposure to open air), light your first real fire. The heat transforms the surface rust (orange iron oxide) into a more stable and darker layer. It is this thermal shock that gives it that high-end industrial look.

The metalworker's maintenance. A raw steel piece is indestructible, but it evolves:

  • The base: the first rains will cause "rust juice" to flow. Be careful with your patio slabs: place the piece on bricks or a sacrificial support at first.
  • The finish: for a dark "leather" look and to avoid marks on clothing, wipe the exterior with a cloth soaked in linseed oil when the metal is still slightly warm (not burning!).
