S235 raw steel finish, 5 mm thick.
Two steel options:
- S235 raw: raw workshop finish, appearance evolves freely over time.
- S235 Corten: self-patinating steel, develops a stable and protective patina, uniform warm color.

Usage & Maintenance (workshop tips, no guarantee)
Accelerate the patina: the "Flash Rust" mix. On new steel, the reaction is very satisfying to watch.
- Mix: 200 ml of hydrogen peroxide + 2 tablespoons of white vinegar + 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Application: use a plant mister, spray randomly for a natural look.
- Timing: preferably on an overcast day or at the end of the day. If the sun is too strong, the mixture evaporates before reacting with the iron.
Metalworker's maintenance. A raw steel piece is indestructible, but it evolves:
- The base: the first rains will cause "rust juice" to flow. Be careful with your patio tiles: place the piece on bricks or a sacrificial support at the beginning.
- The finish: for a dark "leather" look and to avoid marks on clothing, wipe the outside with a cloth soaked in linseed oil when the metal is still a little warm (not burning!).
